Affordable Meetings Heads to Chicago
For its Affordable Meetings Mid-America conference, to be held April 6-7 at Chicago's Navy Pier, HSMAI has lined up a roster of 25 sessions and 300 exhibitors.
One of the seminars, led by Nate Booth, president, Nate Booth & Associates, Oceanside, Calif., will show planners how to identify the key stakeholders of a meeting and determine what they want to get out of it. Debra Bachman Zabloudil, president, The Learning Studio, Chicago, will moderate a panel of meeting planners, hoteliers, and lawyers who will critique hotel contract clauses. Sue Tinnish, president of SEAL Inc., a Chicago-based meetings consultant, will provide 100 tips to transform and enhance a meeting.
