iPhysicianNet announced today it has reached an agreement with Eli Lilly and Company to provide electronic video detailing services to primary care physicians throughout the United States. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

``We are pleased that Lilly has joined our primary care network,'' said Peter Moriarty, iPhysicianNet, Chairman and CEO. ``We believe that our success in securing contracts with the major pharmaceutical companies is based on our proven results.

``Those results clearly demonstrate the tremendous value that iPhysicianNet brings to the sales area in cost effectively driving up market share. In addition to longer and more frequent detailing sessions,'' Moriarty added, ``our clients are, on average, detailing almost twice as many products as in the average field-based selling session.''

e-Detailing enables pharmaceutical company sales representatives to communicate directly with physicians in their private offices using iPhysicianNet's interactive, real-time, high speed telecommunications videoconferencing system.

``In line with our eBusiness strategy, e-Detailing is an example of our commitment toward implementing better ways to serve our customers -- physicians, patients and health care providers -- through improved connections, information flow and customized service,'' said Newt Crenshaw, vice president, e.Lilly. ``This instant connectivity will provide physicians with Lilly product and clinical information to help guide their medical decisions for patients.''

iPhysicianNet created the e-Detailing space, and is unique in providing live, face-to-face video detailing. The system utilizes a network of video conferencing equipped personal computers operating through high-speed telecommunications lines to provide physicians with access to live interactions with pharmaceutical companies, the Internet, e-mail, medical news and references, and continuing medical education resources.

The company, formed in 1996, is headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz. For more information, visit www.iPhysicianNet.com.
