By all means, clip the newspaper ads, send your resume to a headhunter, and register with an online job bank—but only if confidentiality isn’t going to be an issue for you, as it can be if you’re currently employed. And remember that candidates get a stronger rate of return if they post their resumes on vehicles specific to the meeting industry rather than on generic job sites.
