2004 Motivation Show Packed with Content
CHICAGO EXPECTS TO HOST more than 15,000 attendees at this year's Motivation Show, to be held September 28 to 30 at McCormick Place Convention Center. The show is the world's largest exhibition on strategies and tactics for motivation in business, featuring more than 1,000 merchandise and travel suppliers.
The show's educational program, which has been growing every year, will include more than 50 sessions, ranging from “Measuring Performance ROI” to “New Approaches to Rewards and Recognition.” New this year: On September 27, from 1:15 to 4:45 p.m., and September 28, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Results Marketing Forum will be held in conjunction with the show. This 1.5-day session focuses on strategies and tactics for increasing sales in the B2B market segment. For more, visit www.motivationshow.com. Also new, the Promotional Products Association International's Business Forum & Marketplace will run adjacent to The Motivation Show's exhibits.
On September 28, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., the National Association for Employee Recognition will hold its 2004 Fall Summit, presenting current research from the Forum for People Performance Management and Measurement at the Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University, as well as information from its 2004 Best Practices Award Recipient, La Porte Regional Health System. To register, visit www.recognition.org. September 29 will be Meeting Professionals International Day at the show, capped off by the Rendezvous Reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Corporate Meetings & Incentives Editor Barbara Scofidio and The Meetings Group Editorial Director Betsy Bair, along with special guest Brenda Anderson, CEO of the Society of Incentive & Travel Executives, will hold an open forum at The Meetings Group Booth 4514 on September 29 from 11 a.m. to noon. A limited number of Beyond Borders briefcases will be given out.
