talk radio, meetings style
The first week in April, a call-in radio show for the meeting industry began daily live broadcasts via the Internet. Monday through Friday, 9 to 9:30 a.m., it's all meetings talk at www.meetingradio.com.
Bill Wulff, CMP, president of Above the Rim Events, Fort Lee, N.J., and a former meeting executive with NBC and MetLife, is behind the venture. Wulff has a programming theme for each day of the week. On Mondays, he covers the latest news and trends in the meeting industry, and on Wednesdays there's an interview with an industry thought leader. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, experts will join him to answer questions on job searches (Dawn Penfold, president of The Meeting Candidate Network), technology (John Maddox, CMP), and special events (Beth Shubert, founder of Evention Inc.), respectively.
