Mohegan Sun to Add House of Blues Hotel

Mohegan Sun, the giant hotel casino resort located in southeastern Connecticut, announced plans last week for a $740 million expansion, dubbed Project Horizon, which will include a new 1,000-room House of Blues hotel to be owned and operated by Mohegan Sun. It calls for 300 House of Blues-themed hotel rooms and an exclusive, members-only House of Blues Foundation Room, to be located on the upper floors of the new hotel.
