CVB veteran Kathleen “Kitty” Ratcliffe is leaving her position as executive vice president of the New Orleans Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau to take on a new post as president of the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission. Ratcliffe, who had worked at the St. Louis CVC in the 1980s as a convention sales executive, also previously served as president of the Jacksonville & The Beaches Convention & Visitors Bureau and vice president of sales and marketing for the Baltimore Area CVB. She succeeds Carole Moody, who is retiring after a 30-year stint with the St. Louis CVB.
Nikki Nicholson, who is returning to the NOMCVB after a brief retirement, will take on the role of vice president for convention sales in the wake of Ratcliffe’s departure. Another addition to the New Orleans CVB staff is Kelly Shulz, who is the bureau’s new vice president for communications and public relations. Shulz formerly played a similar role with the Meeting Professionals International before returning to her hometown of New Orleans.
