Sentry Center Midtown East celebrates is first half year in business this spring. The New York City conference center and special event venue opened in November 2009 with 40,000 square feet of meeting space within walking distance of Grand Central Terminal.
The new day center has 12 meeting rooms, including the 4,200-square-foot Wharton Ballroom and the 45-seat executive boardroom. The property also had a 5,000-square-foot outdoor garden terrace with dramatic views of Manhattan. While no sleeping rooms are on-site, packages are available in conjunction with the Alex Hotel, located across the street.
