Gala Celebration at the 2010 RCMA World Conference and Exposition 

The Religious Conference Management Association’s 2010 World Conference and Exposition in Fort Worth, Texas, included a gala on January 28 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. During the evening’s banquet, RCMA honored Jack Stone, district superintendent, Kentucky District, Church of the Nazarene, Hillview, Ky., with its President’s Award, which is given annually to an RCMA member who has rendered distinguished service to RCMA and the field of religious conference management. At a black-tie and "diamonds and denim"–themed gala on January 11 at the Dallas Fairmont Hotel, the Convention Industry Council added five new honorees to its esteemed Hall of Leaders list: M. Theresa Breining, CMP, CMM; Thomas M. Mobley, Jr.; Steve Porter; Preston Robert Tisch; and Jerry A. Wayne. The glittering event, held during the Professional Convention Management Association's annual meeting, continues CIC's 25-year tradition of honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to the meetings and convention industry.
