Have you ever spent hours cursing the light from the street that comes into your hotel room no matter how hard you try to get those curtains to close all the way? Cindy Butts, CAE, CEO at Maine Association of REALTORS & Maine Real Estate Information Systems, Lewiston/Auburn area, Maine, had the same problem. That is, until she learned this tip from her colleague R. Scott Brunner, CAE, CEO with the Virginia Association of REALTORS, which she related on her AE on the Verge blog (cindyae.blogspot.com):

“Most decent hotels have two kinds of hangers in the closet — pants hangers and skirt hangers. … Use a [skirt] hanger with clips to clip the curtains closed. It's not pretty, but I've done it, and it works.”

This tip has also been tested by Association Meetings' editorial staff, and we can vouch for it. Sleep well!
