The American Library Association has entered into a new agreement with Hall-Erickson, expanding the Westmont, Ill.-based company's conference management duties for the association.

As a result, Paul Graller, vice president at Hall-Erickson, is now ALA's conference services coordinator, replacing Deidre Ross, who had been in that position since 1995. Graller had served as conference services coordinator at the ALA before Ross. He left in 1995 to join Hall-Erickson.

Other ALA staff members have retained their duties, including Mary Ghikas, senior associate executive director for member programs and services, who has overall responsibility for conference services, according to an article in American Libraries, ALA's magazine.

Hall-Erickson has a long relationship with ALA, having worked on its Annual Conference and Midwinter Meeting for the past 30 years. Graller managed ALA exhibit sales before taking on this new role, which became effective October 4.
