The upshot, I guess, is to make sure you don't hire any coconuts, or pineapples, or something like that (you have to read the post). Don't even let themto help out with manning an information table -- it's easy to forget that the people who have the most contact with your clients/customers/attendees are often the least paid, least trained, and least screened. Here's one compelling case of why that should not be the case.
