I just ran across an article on procurement's growing role in meeting planning in a magazine I wouldn't ordinarily have thought would be covering this: Supply Management.
For purchasers entering the complex market for events and meetings, the starting point is clear: find out how much they cost. From there, it’s about winning suppliers and specialists over.
