Getting laid off due to outsourcing is bad enough, but Northwest Airlines is slapping them on the face on the way out the door with a brochure that's supposed to ease their transition, according to The Bismark Tribune. Among the offensive sections is one detailing how to deal with job loss, including:
A list of 101 money-saving ideas suggests they ask friends and family for hand-me-down clothes or ask a doctor for free samples of their prescription drugs. Idea No. 46 - "Don't be shy about pulling something you like out of the garbage."
