Conflicts of interest involving board members of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey are drawing scrutiny from two major accreditation bodies.


The Liaison Committee on Medical Education--the accrediting arm of the American Association of Medical Colleges and the American Medical Association --has said the institution violated accreditation standards because of the affiliations of some of its board members.
