AT A GLANCE: In mid-July, Advantage was acquired by ALTOUR, a global leader in the travel industry. The ALTOUR family of companies has over 100 offices around the United States and Europe and generates one billion dollars in travel volume. Among the assets Advantage brings to the table for the newly merged company is a Web-based performance-improvement platform called to your advantage. In the past year, Advantage has enhanced the platform by adding new awards, for a total of nearly 4,000 items. The online reward platform also features a point-banking system as well as communications and reporting tools. Advantage is integrating operations with sister company The Travel Authority, based in Louisville, KY.
