Everyone loves golf, right? So why not use a virtual golf game to build traffic at yourbooth?
Traffic Builders Inc., Newburyport, Mass., will custom design a Click2 Golf Challenge for any company's Web page, including logos, product photos, and exhibitor/sponsor information. Trade show exhibitors also have the option of having the virtual closest-to-the-pin contest available on booth computer screens.
The game works this way: The participant registers at the Web site — thus providing the sponsor company with valuable data for potential sales leads — and is taken through a series of prompts to choose a virtual caddy, golf hole, and golfer. “You can play a hole at, say, Pebble Beach,” says Bob Cacciola, director of sales and promotions at Traffic Builders. “You get three swings to see how close to the pin you can get.”
