Location and Transportation:Palm Springs Regional Airport is located two miles from downtown Palm Springs. Airlines that serve the airport include American, United, Delta, US Airways, Alaska, and America West.

Hotels and Meeting Venues:There are 230 hotels in the area, with a total of more than 15,000 guest rooms. Total tax on hotel rooms ranges from 9 percent to 11 percent. The Palm Springs Convention Center has 120,000 square feet of exhibit space and 10 meeting rooms.

Recreation:Recreational activities include golf, tennis, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, bicycling, hot-air ballooning, polo, shopping, and sightseeing.
