StarCite clients have a new site comparison tool — Meeting Estimator — to help them better calculate the cost of their meetings — and the cost of meeting in one destination versus another.

The Philadelphia-based company's new online tool calculates a group's approximate total and per-person cost for an event at one or several cities at a time. Meeting planners plug in the meeting locations under consideration, the airports from which attendees will be originating, and the number of attendees from each of those airports. The tool also allows users to factor in local attendees who do not need transportation or hotel rooms. Cost assumptions can be customized to a company's typical event profile.
