AT A GLANCE: In 2011, the company nearly doubled the number of meetings and incentives it planned over 2010 and increased the number of room nights booked for meetings and incentives by about 40 percent. It brought on three key staff in the meetings and events department—Kari Vrba, vice president of business development; Michelle Maurer, business development manager; and Anne Pinney, director of client development—and launched the patent-pending “Ultimate Sales League,” which melds sales data with the game elements of a fantasy sports league. MotivAction also added two strategic partners—Giftango Corp., an e-gift card company; and Core-Apps, mobile meeting application provider. MotivAction also partners with QuickMobile for mobile apps.
