Everyone's talking about the long-awaited Mohegan Sun, which opened this summer in Uncasville, Conn. The impression of the glistening 34-story complex rising out of its surroundings can only be described as dazzling. The tower's design was inspired by quartz crystal, which was used by the local Mohegan tribe. This 1,200-room hotel was designed with meetings in mind, with more than 100,000 square feet of space, including what they claim is the Northeast's largest ballroom (40,000 square feet) and a 10,000-seat arena.
