Have a Huddle Matt Luca, chairman of Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Solutions, has just the trick for keeping employees' eyes on the ball--or, in his case, on the corporate mission: daily huddles. For 10 minutes each day, the 2,000person corporate real estate company in Valhalla, N.Y., breaks into groups of up to 10 employees. Huddlers discuss an aspect of one the company's four fundamental values--respect, winning, client focus, and trust. Some of Luca's tips for running a successful daily huddle:
* Begin and end on time, and keep huddles to 5 to 10 minutes.
* When you lead a huddle, be enthusiastic and prepared initiate discussion.
* Thank people and acknowledge extra efforts.
