  1. As a native Chicagoan, who is your home team, Cubs or Sox?

    It's hard to make that decision. I grew up on the West Side, as opposed to the North or South Side, so I'd have to say I root, root, root for both.

  2. What don't you leave home without?

    I have a little electronic organizer that links me up to my office. The nice thing about it is that I can turn it off.

  3. What's the best lawyer movie you've seen? Book?

    The original Twelve Angry Men, with Henry Fonda and Lee J. Cobb, comes to mind. But To Kill a Mockingbird would cover both the movie and book categories.

  4. You've been invited to the restaurant of your choice. Where do you go, and what do you order?

    In Chicago — actually, in Northbrook — it's Charlie Beinlich's. I'd have a shrimp cocktail and a cheeseburger. They make the best burgers in the world at Charlie's.

  5. If you weren't doing what you're doing, what would you be doing?

    I'd be a teacher, either history or law. Or maybe the history of law.
