* AMMC Forms Industry Council The Alliance of Meeting Management Consultants (AMMC) recently formed an Advisory Council to foster communication between suppliers and AMMC members (independent meeting managers). * Maritz Creates Meetings Group To improve its service to corporate clients, Maritz Travel has created a new meetings division. The St. Louis based company's 40-person Meetings and Business Development arm is a separate unit under Maritz Performance Improvement.
