Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club There's something new at Naples, Fla.'s oldest resort: This spring, the 318-room Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club unveiled its elaborate 22,000-square-foot meeting facility and spa, The Clubhouse, giving executives one more meeting choice on the Gulf of Mexico.

With views of the resort's 18-hole golf course to the east and the expanse of too-blue Gulf waters to the west, some meeting rooms in the new facility give attendees panoramic vistas that could easily play tug-of-war with a PowerPoint presentation.

The centerpiece of The Clubhouse, built across the street from the main building on Gulf Shore Boulevard, is the River of Grass Ballroom, which can accommodate 520 guests for a banquet. A smaller ballroom, the Mangrove, holds 310 attendees theater-style. The facility is rounded out by a variety of breakout rooms, atriums, terraces, solariums, and boardrooms equipped with the latest audiovisual equipment and high-speed Internet connections.

What to do after a long day of meetings? Naples Beach Hotel has that covered, too. A 15,000-square-foot spa is part of The Clubhouse, where a salon, treatment rooms, fitness center, yoga and aerobics, sauna and steam rooms, and attentive pampering await the weary attendee. For full immersion in the spa experience, try the Relaxation Bath--a 20-minute soak in a hydrotherapy tub filled with sea salts and heady essential oils followed by a heat wrap and light massage. It will teleport you to Nirvana.
