Don Jaeger has been named president of the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau. He had been director of marketing for the Oklahoma City Convention & Visitors Bureau. Jaeger, who serves on the board of directors of the Religious Conference Management Association, replaces Ellen Brown, who retired.
The Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau has promoted Tom Noonan to vice president, eastern region. He had been director of sales and will remain at the bureau's Washington, DC, office.
The Greater Columbus (OH) Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced two appointments. Joseph Marinelli has been named vice president of sales and marketing. Marinelli joins from Charlotte, NC, where he was director of sales and marketing at The Westin Hotel. Karri Cecil Schildmeyer was promoted to national sales manager from sales manager.
The Hawai'i Visitors and Convention Bureau has announced several appointments. Michael D. Tarr has joined as director of national accounts. Tarr, who will be based in Chicago, was formerly national accounts manager with the national sales office of Westin Hotels & Resorts. Robb Huff has been named senior director of corporate and incentive accounts. He had been senior director, corporate and incentive national accounts, with the San Diego Convention Center.
The Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority has named Joseph C. DiGirolamo national sales manager. He had been vice president of operations and sales with Accommodations Express, a national reservations center in Ocean City, NJ.
Barbara Bogdanski has been named national sales manager for the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau, based in the bureau's Washington, DC, office. She had been associate director of sales at the Holiday Inn on The Hill, also in DC.
Laure Mouton has been elected president of the Association Internationale Des Palais De Congres (AIPC). She is executive director/Congres & Exhibitions at the Palais de Congres de Paris.
