1. If you could be anywhere in the world, where would you be?
Right now? Cape Town, South Africa, at the World Cup!
2. What’s playing on your iPod?
AC/DC, Rush, Metallica (guilty pleasure: Black Eyed Peas)
3. It’s time for a second career. What do you choose?
I like music. If I didn't choose the resort career, I think I would have been with a record label or working for an agency. Hard rock, rock ‘n' roll, none of this pop/rap stuff. But, in all honesty, I look forward to becoming a starter at a private club one day: free golf and I can still meet people!
4. What’s the best book you’ve read recently?
“With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa” by E.B. Sledge, mortarman from the 1st Marine Division–3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, who fought in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
5. What do you do to stay healthy?
Try to exercise during lunch a few days a week, cut out fast food and Cokes, and cut back on bread—that's been the hard one!
6. What’s always in your refrigerator?
Milk, 1 percent. I have it every day with Mini-Wheats in the morning. And I sneak a cookie with a glass over the kitchen sink before bed—now that's livin'! In the basement fridge? A case of Sagamore Ale, our house beer, of course.
7. What is your favorite quote or saying?
"All the world's indeed a stage. We are merely players, performers and portrayers, each another's audience outside the gilded cage."— Rush, "Limelight," derived from William Shakespeare’s "As You Like It"
8. Who inspires you?
My kids. To see life from a 9-year-old and 11-year-old perspective is priceless. I'm enjoying my youth again!
