Timothy M. Strobl has been named director of sales at the Nashville (Tenn.) Convention Center. Strobl has spent seven years at the convention center, most recently as interim director of sales.
Stephanie Wilkes has been named national sales manager for the Pasadena (Calif.) Convention & Visitors Bureau. She will market Pasadena's meeting facilities, including the Pasadena Conference & Exhibition Center, to medical organizations around the country.
Daniel J. Ouimet has been named director, Midwest region sales, at the Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau. Ouimet previously served as convention sales manager for the Chicago Hilton & Towers.
Jeff Hewitt has joined the Tampa/Hillsborough (Fla.) Convention and Visitors Association as director of convention sales. Hewitt comes from The Registry Resort in Naples, Fla., where he was director of sales.

Wanda Collier-Wilson has been appointed executive director of the Metro Jackson (Miss.) Convention and Visitors Bureau. Collier-Wilson began her career with the bureau in 1983 and has held almost every position with the organization since. She is the first African-American to hold this position in the bureau's history.
Marie Fuehner has joined the Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau, in Covington, Ky., as director of convention and visitor services. She was most recently general manager for Prime Hospitality's AmeriSuites North in Cincinnati.
HOTELS & TRAVEL Diana O'Dell has been promoted to senior sales manager at the Delta Orlando Resort. She is responsible for themarket for the resort, located at Maingate at Universal Studios Florida.
Ben Soto has been named senior vice president at Adam's Mark Hotels & Resorts. He is responsible for overseeing operation of the Adam's Mark Denver, and will soon take on the same responsibilites for two new acquisitions in Colorado Springs and Grand Junction, Colo. Soto was most recently general manager at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center in Denver.
James Joseph (J.J.) Doran has been appointed vice president of worldwide sales at Preferred Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. He will focus on group sales in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Prior to joining Preferred, Doran was president of Synergi Global Travel, formerly SRG International, a consortium of international travel agencies.
Bruce J. Hamlin is director of sales andat the new Sheraton Rittenhouse Square Hotel in Philadelphia. For the past five years, Hamlin has served as director of sales at the Omni Hotel at Independence Park, also in Philadelphia.

The Floridian Hotel in Orlando has named Neal McFarland director of sales and marketing. McFarland comes to The Floridian from the Embassy Suites International Drive/Jamaican Court, also in Orlando, where he was director of marketing since 1991.
