Virtual work practices, in particular remote project teams and telecommuters, are increasingly common. Here are some facts from a study conducted earlier this year of 510 managers and staff at large and small organizations throughout the United States.

▪ Percentage who have never met the virtual team they work with face-to-face 84%
▪ Percentage who are concerned that virtual work may have a potential negative impact on business relationships 23%
▪ Percentage who agree or strongly agree that virtual meetings save time and money 91%
