The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) is holding a follow-up event to its "Industry in Crisis Interactive Strategy Conference" in response to 9/11 events this fall. The new event, which will be held January 30 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, is designed to be a a full-day, interactive forum that uses case studies of successful marketing campaigns and communications plans. A networking session will follow the meeting.
The keynote address, which will be given by Bonnie Reitz, Continental Airlines' senior vice president of sales and marketing, will be on "Perspectiveson Travel Industry Marketing Challenges from One Who Knows." Dr. Peter Yesawich, president of Yesawich, Pepperdine and Brown will discuss the latest trends in travel with results from what will be the most recent "Travel Intent Survey."
