Friday, June 1 is the deadline for registration for the Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education's summer institute, to be held June 24 through 29 at the University of Calgary Health Science Centre, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The course is designed for both experienced and novice CME researchers, as well as those who are interested in translating research into the practice of CME. The3 mornings will provide a basic overview of the core principles of educational research. Afternoons are designed to enable participants to either develop a research proposal or work on a current research project under the guidance of experienced researchers, or enhance research skills and knowledge thourh a series of mini-workshops that will provide an opportunity to explore specific topics in depth.
Members of the Alliance for CME and SACME get a $150 break on the $500 registration fee. (U.S. dollars).
