Purchased by Harrah's Entertainment earlier this year, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is now part of Harrah’s meetings division, Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah’s Entertainment. With the addition of Planet Hollywood’s 100,000 square feet of meeting space and 3,700 guest rooms and suites, Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah’s Entertainment now offers more than a million square feet of space and 25,000 rooms and suites in eight resorts, all located in the heart of Las Vegas. “Everything our customers have come to expect from working with us—access to all of the venues and amenities across our eight properties with one contract and one minimum, the Meeting Diamond program, our commitment to meetings and events—will now be available at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino,” says Michael Massari, vice president of meeting sales and operations.

Planet Hollywood’s Conference Center is located on the property’s mezzanine level, with easy access to the hotel lobby, guest elevators, a 1,500-seat showroom, and the casino. The facility’s meeting space features the 36,864-square-foot Celebrity Ballroom, divisible into eight breakouts; 20 meeting rooms that can accommodate 10 to 500 people; two executive-style boardrooms; a permanent registration desk with two lockable offices; a business center; a dedicated banquet kitchen; and in-house presentation services. Additionally, the Theater for the Performing Arts offers flexible capacities ranging from 3,000 to 7,000 seats. Both the showroom and theater include permanent staging, dressing/green rooms, lighting packages, and advanced sound systems.

Recently opened at Planet Hollywood is PH Towers by Westgate, a 52-story glass tower on the Strip featuring a lushly landscaped tropical pool, more than 1,200 all-suite accommodations, and 28 penthouses.
