Qantas Airways is the latest airline to reduce planned international flights, announcing March 28 that it would reduce transcontinental flights up to 20% between April 1 and mid-July due to the double-whammy of the respiratory disease SARS and the war. This includes reductions of UK services from 21 to 17 flights per week; Rome and Paris flights from three to two; and Australia-Los Angeles from 28 to 25. Other reductions and delays in new services were also announced.
