The Tulalip Resort Casino in Tulalip, Wash. has appointed Troy Longwith as director of sales. Previously, Longwith was the director of group sales at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in downtown Seattle.
Chris Parsons has been named the new director of sales at The Ellis Hotel, a new boutique hotel in Atlanta. Most recently, Parsons served as the director of sales and marketing at Buffalo Niagara Marriott.
Sandra Cook has joined the Sorrento Hotel in Seattle as its director of sales and marketing. Cook most recently served as sales manager at the Heathman Hotel Kirkland in Kirkland, Wash.
The JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa at Ko Olina has named Dan Reid, CMP, director of event management. Reid comes to the resort from the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, where he served as director of event planning.
Dave Duncan was appointed the new director of sales and marketing at the St. Louis Airport Marriott. Prior to joining the hotel, Duncan was director of sales and marketing at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld and has been with the Marriott brand since 1984.
The Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association has appointed Sam Rogers to the position of executive vice president and chief marketing officer at the BACVA. Rogers will oversee all leisure and convention marketing for the bureau.

Felicia Madison, CMP, has been named the new director of sales for the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau. Madison was previously a national convention sales manager for the SACVB and has been with the organization for nine years.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority recently named Nancy Murphy vice president of resort industry and business relations. Murphy will serve as a liaison between the LVCVA and Southern Nevada’s resort industry and business community. Murphy has been with the CVA since 1991.
