If you haven’t visited RCMA’s official Web site, www.MyRCMA.org, you’re in for a treat. It has a new, fresh look, clean navigation so it’s easy to find exactly what you’re looking for, and an enhanced member database where members can log in and view their profile. Members also can now search the membership database after they log in through the new database. And don’t miss the video from this year’s Emerge conference, and links to Deanology, a blog by RCMA’s director of conferences and events Dean Jones, and RCMA’s Facebook page, YouTube videos, and Twitter account, all accessible from the homepage.

Under the “About Us” tab, you’ll find all kinds of information about the organization, contact information for key RCMA staffers and the Board of Directors, and handy, downloadable banners you can use on Web sites to showcase your RCMA membership. The Web site also offers membership information and links to member resources, such as information about the Certified Meeting Professional designation, a commission-free venue search directory, an online RFP engine, and a wealth of articles on everything to do with meeting planning. The site also links to Religious Conference Manager, RCMA’s flagship magazine, along with more news and articles about the organization.

On the Events Page you’ll find everything you need to know about RCMA events, including the latest details about both Emerge, RCMA’s annual gathering, and its new regional events. And don’t forget to click on the Member Events page, where you can input information about your own upcoming events.

You also can register on the Events Page for RCMA's first regional event, Aspire, which is coming to Nashville May 20–21. Highlights will include a private tour of Nashville’s new Music City Center and its grand opening festivities, featuring live music by country great Vince Gill and popular musical artist Sheryl Crowe. Attendees also will get to mix and mingle with regional and national hotel venues and CVBs, and learn during the interactive educational sessions. Some standouts: A general session led by best-selling and Gold-Medallion-winning author Robert J. Morgan, who has more than 25 books in print. An industry hot-topics brainstorming session, led by Michael Owen, CEO and managing partner at event production and destination management firm EventGenuity, will guide you in sharing experiences and strategies with your peers, while a song-writing session, led by teambuilding-through-music specialists from KidBilly Music, will get your creative juices flowing.  Click here for more information and to register. A second regional event is scheduled to take place in Colorado Springs November 11–13.
