Company differential: Zerista’s platform allows event organizers to create a Web-based mobile app for free (up to 250 users), which includes social-media tools, maps, organizer-to-attendee communications, attendee-to-attendee communications, an agenda builder, and more. For a fee, the tool’s pro version adds advertising and sponsorship placement, exhibitor information, meeting scheduling, forums, booth locator tools, and other features. Zerista was implemented for the 50,000-attendee Mobile World Congress in 2010 and will again create the show’s mobile meeting guide in 2011.
