For the first time, EIBTM is adding a hybrid component to the show, but U.S.–based meeting pros who want to see the live-streamed education sessions may want to do so in their PJs.
The Barcelona, Spain–based event for the meetings and event industry, which runs from November 27–29, will stream five, free education sessions on Wednesday, November 28, starting at 9 a.m. CET, which is 4 a.m. in New York City.
The live-streamed sessions are spread throughout the day, making some more convenient for later risers. Here’s the schedule, with times adjusted to EST:
4:00 a.m. Stories of Great Leadership in Times of Challenge and Change
6:00 a.m. The IBTM Research Findings: A discussion
7:30 a.m. Innovative Delivery in Meetings and Events
8:45 a.m. Making Digital Events Happen
10:00 a.m. The Influencing Skills No One Tells You About—“The Secret”
Participants joining the live-streamed sessions will be able to ask questions via a virtual emcee, network in real time with other participants, and earn CEU credits for each seminar they attend. However, sessions will also be available on demand for the next 12 months and the virtual event center will also have an ongoing virtual exhibition hall, resource center with access to various white papers that have been produced in association with EIBTM, and a networking lounge.
In addition, content from the other IBTM events—AIME, GIBTM, CIBTM, AIBTM and BTM—will all be available after each show.
