This summer marks the grand opening of the Andaz Maui at Wailea in Hawaii.
Located on the southwestern coastline of Maui along Mokapu Beach, the resort features 297 guest rooms and suites, including seven two- to four-bedroom villas inspired by the fashion, art, and music that influence today’s Hawaii. It boasts more than more than 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space with three beachfront event lawns.
It also has a 15,000-square-foot full-service spa with a private adults-only pool, multiple cascading infinity pools overlooking the ocean, retail outlets, a fitness facility, and two full service restaurants including Morimoto Maui, helmed by acclaimed Chef Masaharu Morimoto.
As General Manager Michael Stephens describes it, the resort “bridges the character of Hawaii with the experiences travelers seek when they visit great destinations around the world—personalized, uncomplicated service and a rich understanding of the local neighborhood.”
The property will be Hawaii’s first LEED certified resort under the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system. The resort has a design approach that reduces energy and water consumption, minimizes waste and harmful emissions, and stresses sustainable design as an integral component of its overall strategy.
The resort is taking reservations for September 15 and beyond.
