Food Did Not Go to Waste
Food left over from meals at RCMA's 2005 World Conference and Exposition did not end up in the trash.
America's Center donated surplus food to Operation Food Search, which distributes food to some 300 community agencies in 11 counties in Missouri and nine counties in Illinois. OFS works to increase awareness of hunger and to eliminate waste in the bistate region. In addition, the Renaissance Grand Hotel distributed excess food to Second Harvest.
