1 A service project for planners and suppliers will be held the day of the opening reception.
2 An intensive educational opportunity will be offered as an alternative to the Behind-the-Scenes experiences.
3 At the opening reception, targeted networking opportunities based on size of event or focus, for example, will be offered to help attendees (planners and suppliers) with like interests and needs to connect.
4 Wednesday evening will be a free night, where suppliers can invite planners to dinner. Later that same evening, there will be a dessert reception for networking and entertainment that will be open to all attendees.
5 There will be a lounge in the exhibit hall, and during specified periods during exhibit hours there will be a break for everyone to gather around the lounge area for door prizes as well as for refreshments, mini tutorials, chair massages, information booths, and other interactive activities.
