Top Entertainment Highlights RCMA’s Evening Program

Drama, musical entertainment, and a hilarious comedy act involving ventriloquy … there will be something to suit everyone’s taste during the evening programs at RCMA’s 40th World Conference & Expo, January 24-27, 2012, in Kansas City, Mo.

Tuesday’s “Welcome to Kansas City” opening reception at the convention center will highlight the best of the Show Me State, including lots of fun dining experiences.

Sponsored by Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Wednesday night program will take place at the renowned Kansas City Music Hall, one of the most timeless and storied event venues in North America.

Featured will be segments from the musical hit, Joseph, based on the Biblical account in the Old Testament’s Book of Genesis. Master of Ceremonies will be television icon Barry Williams, known as Greg Brady in the hit series “The Brady Bunch.”

Also highlighted will be masterful musical entertainers John and Ambrus Presley, as well as the timeless vocal group The Platters, plus Todd Oliver and Friends, a hilarious ventriloquy act that has appeared on the “Late Show with David Letterman“, “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” and the “Today Show,” among others.

For the closing gala on Thursday night, sponsors Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association and Kansas City Marriott Downtown will bring the Twelve Irish Tenors to the stage for an evening of beautiful music and exquisite cuisine.
