StarCite Launches Orbitz Alliance
By the first quarter of 2008, StarCite expects to have a new travel booking feature: a direct link to Orbitz for Business and Travelport for Business from its attendee-management application.
StarCite, the Philadelphia-based provider of meeting-management solutions, announced the alliance with the Corporate Travel Solutions Group of online travel agency giant Orbitz Worldwide, Chicago, at the National Business Travel Association International Convention & Exposition in Boston. Orbitz for Business and Travelport for Business are Orbitz’s online corporate travel agencies with spend-management and reporting functionalities.
“Integrating travel booking with our meetings-management platform is a key step in driving a more strategic approach to corporate meetings and events,” said Mike Boult, president and CEO of StarCite.
