Florida’s Tampa Bay & Company recently announced that the Philadelphia Church of God will be bringing its Feast of Tabernacles meeting to the city for three consecutive years, beginning in 2012.

Combined, the conventions will welcome 6,600 delegates to Tampa Bay, producing more than 7,000 hotel room nights and creating $1.8 million in delegate spending, according to a Tampa Bay & Company press release.

The annual seven-day Feast of Tabernacles festival is held at locations around the world, including Australia, India, Belgium, Peru, and the Philippines. The event focuses on building church unity and strong families through spiritual instruction and wholesome recreational activities, bureau officials stated in a press release.

The Religious Conference Management Association brought more than 1,000 people to Tampa in January for its 39th World Conference & Expo. RCMA’s 40th annual meeting will be held January 24–27, 2012, in Kansas City, Mo. Visit rcmaweb.org for more information.
