The Religious Conference Management Association's Board of Directors has announced that Emerge 2015 will be held in Birmingham, Ala., January 26–30. RCMA last met in Birmingham 20 years ago.
Attendees will experience a stay in Birmingham’s new Westin hotel (which opened in February), as well as the Sheraton. The city’s convention and visitor’s bureau, which beat out five other offers in its quest to host RCMA, offered “a very complete package,” said Dean Jones, RCMA’s director of conferences and events.
“This is the best fit for us for this particular year,” he said. “We’ve got a lot of exciting things planned for the city and the venues—and we’re looking forward to the great southern hospitality that we’ll experience.”
Next year’s conference will be held in Sacramento, Calif., February 4–7.
