Our latest reader salary survey finds compensation inching up for those in executive management and convention management, but a huge gender wage gap persists‹especially in executive management. The 2005 editorial analysis compares average salaries for males and females, taking into account such variables as years in the field, education level, age, and size of meeting budget. We also include perspectives from survey respondents with regard to leadership differences between males and females.
