Senior meeting managers have never had solid data to benchmark their job responsibilities and salaries against‹until now. The first-ever report on salaries and responsibilities of senior-level meeting managers was released in July 2010 by Corporate Meetings & Incentives. It was conducted in collaboration with the National Business Travel Association and the Financial and Insurance Conference Planners association.
The survey looks at everything from the scope of senior meeting managersą education and experience, to the size of their departments and the number of meetings they plan, to whether or not they are responsible for combined meetings and travel‹and how all of these correlate with salary.
