Hyatt Hotel Opens in St. Louis
The 910-room Hyatt Regency St. Louis Riverfront at the Gateway Arch held its grand reopening July 1 after undergoing a $63 million renovation.
The hotel, owned by The Chartres Lodging Group LLC, is near the Gateway Arch. The hotel features three restaurants, a health club, and 83,000 square feet of meeting space.
“We are thrilled to have received such strong community support, and are pleased we have been able to give back to the community with the creation of 100 new jobs,” said the hotel's managing director, Greg Saunders.
The renovation has had a major impact on St. Louis' hospitality package, said Brian Hall, chief marketing officer for the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission.
