Park Hyatt
Located in the ski-in, ski-out village of Beaver Creek, Colo., the posh 190-room Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa gleams from a $20 million renovation completed last December. Public spaces including the lobby, shown here, were redecorated with new floor coverings, wall coverings, furnishings, and artwork. The Allegria Spa doubled in size to 30,000 square feet with the addition of a second floor, three thermal pools, 23 new treatment rooms, and an expanded fitness center. The resort has 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space and reflects Hyatt's green policies with such elements as recycle bins and low-energy fluorescent lamps.
