There's a growing body of research about strategic meetings management, including Corporate Meetings & Incentives' survey of senior meeting managers, which found that 45.3 percent of the respondents (95 top meeting managers at U.S. companies) already have an SMM in place, and 21.1 percent plan to have one in the next two years. We also found that more than half of those with SMMs (53.7 percent) have preferred supplier contracts in place with hospitality suppliers.
