The Hyatt Regency Phoenix just underwent a $15 million top-to-bottom renovation.
The downtown hotel, adjacent to the Phoenix Convention Center, had all of its 693 guest rooms updated as well as its 37,000 square feet of meeting space. The lobby, fitness center, and the hotel's revolving rooftop restaurant—Compass Arizona Grill—were also part of the project.
The rooms were decorated in earth tones and equipped with new 37-inch flat-screen TVs, stereos, and docking stations. The lobby now offers lounge areas with flat-screen TVs, a cybercafé, and business lounge.
The 37,000 square feet of meeting space, which includes 32 breakout rooms and a 10,200-square-foot ballroom, were recarpeted. Also, new wall coverings and lighting fixtures were installed.
