The Hilton Palacio del Rio on the San Antonio River Walk completed a $7 million renovation to its 27,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
Floor-to-ceiling windows were installed in the Salon del Rey ballroom to allow maximum natural light. The project also includes a state-of-the-art digital signage system, virtual concierge, new elevator system, and sound and lighting improvements. Also, local art and contemporary furnishings were installed throughout the public spaces in the hotel. In addition, a UPS Store opened in the lobby to satisfy the needs of the busy meeting planner.

The improvement represent phase 2 of a $34 million renovation at the hotel. All 485 guest rooms in the 21-story hotel were redone in a sophisticated and modern style.
